Right On Time

Ever find yourself worried about getting everything done? That you’re not going to make it on time? The problem with that worry is that you’re always right where you can be. While getting out of where you are may be physically impossible you can make a plan to do something different next time.

This week why not try something different.

Just like you’d catch a kid with their hand in the cookie jar and give them a little verbal “redirect”, learn to catch yourself! Tell yourself “I’m right on time, I’m not going to worry”. Then ask yourself “what can I do right now to get to where I want to be?”… maybe stop scrolling, set a plan, reconfigure your schedule, make time the next time?

Whatever it is, as long as you’re breathing there can be enough time. You can get to it. There is a place for it but maybe not right now or you need to make a place for it in your schedule. Two choices; you can do something about it or worry and stay stuck in your mind. Both can keep you equally busy and drain you equally fast.

So, take it out of your head and recalibrate. The next opportunity do what you should be doing in each moment, focus on it every day this week without arguing with yourself. Do what you can look back on and feel good about. Do something real that’s not virtual. Catch yourself moment by moment.

To move forward you can’t be distracted by your mind or circumstances. It doesn’t have to be complicated.

Be determined.

Set your mind.
