Life speeds along and we need reminders to slow down and take inventory of what we are doing in our mind.
One of the things I've learned in life is that if I'm hearing or seeing something repeatedly there's a message in it. Rather than promptly dismiss it and move on, I take it as a sign to pay attention and look again.
In my little "blog" I share various thoughts and experiences that may serve as reminders of things to be mindful of week-to-week and day-to-day.
Why? The little things are where we have control but we tend to scroll past them in search of the next thing that looks good. We are in search of the profound but it's the philosophies and bigger concepts that trip us up because they simply haven't happened yet. They elude us. How? They exist in the past or the future and we exist in the present moment... well depending on what you believe. Regardless, we are unavoidably first of all human and therefore cognitive, physical, and emotional beings. Anything we try to accomplish should start with the practical side.
So, I hope you get something out of my ramblings, brief or long as they may be to take charge of your present existence.
